Amy Beyer – LAT, LMT
SERVICES OFFERED:
• Expert Myofascial Release (MFR) Therapist
• Women’s & Men’s Health
• Therapeutic Exercise
• Visceral Manipulation
• Craniosacral Therapy
After earning her B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in sports medicine from Winona State University in 1997, Amy’s career began in a rehabilitation clinic assisting clients through injury recovery. She was driven to help each client regain a normal level of function and return to an active life.
Her early work inspired her, and Amy went on to further pursue a career in massage therapy. After earning her degree as a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) in 1997, she graduated from the Milwaukee School of Massage in 2003, becoming a Wisconsin Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She has continued her education with additional specialized training to build her experience and achieve Expert status in her field as well as become a Full Instructor within the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release seminars.
Amy realized her dream in 2003 when she opened the doors of Natural Balance Therapy as a pain management clinic committed to helping clients heal through a holistic, total-body approach.
Amy’s mission is to help each client reach their goals by treating the cause of pain, rather than just the symptoms. She believes in listening to each client’s unique story, needs and goals, and then developing the most practical and effective healing plan for them. Her holistic approach includes teaching clients self-healing techniques they can use at home and considering the daily activities of each client to advise subtle changes that can make all the difference toward realizing desired results.
Amy loves traveling and spending time in nature. She has enjoyed her solo travels and those with her husband on their motorcycles, seeing much of the US and Canada on two wheels and camping along the way. Amy is also a devoted animal lover who loves to watch the wildlife in her backyard. She enjoys spending her quiet time reading a good book, especially while curled up next to a roaring fire.

Kristin Schwengel – LMT, BCTMB
SERVICES OFFERED:
• Expert Myofascial Release (MFR) Therapist
• Lymphatic Drainage Therapy
• Craniosacral Therapy Treatment
Kristin’s interest in the healing arts led her to the Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in 2004 where she received her massage therapy training. Her approach to treatment utilizes a holistic integration of the body and mind.
With a constant desire to learn and grow, Kristin has since continued her education and chosen to specialize in Myofascial Release (MFR) Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) because of their gentle but profound effects for healing. Kristin’s dedication has allowed her to achieve Expert level status within the John F. Barnes MFR approach, as well as become a teaching assistant within Chikly’s Lymphatic Drainage seminars.
Kristin seeks to work in partnership with her clients. One of her favorite moments during a client’s healing is when they get an “a-ha,” realizing that their results aren’t short-lived, but lasting. She loves hearing her clients say, “I feel taller,” or “I can breathe so much easier,” as they begin to connect within their bodies.
Her passion for learning has led Kristin to pursue new challenges outside of work. She is a published author and is constantly diving into new interests from knitting to studying Medieval and Renaissance history. Kristin loves music and her cat, Gandalf. Many evenings she can be found knitting something cozy with Gandalf curled comfortably on her lap.

SERVICES OFFERED:
