Are you ready for the golf season? More importantly is your BODY ready for the golf season? Many of you are fondly eyeing the greening grass, looking forward to getting back out onto the golf course. Natural Balance Therapy wants to help you get your swing back.
Rotational flexibility, hip flexibility, lower back muscles, and shoulder strength all play a role in a golfer’s swing. During winter, many of us become less active and we tend to sit more frequently at home in front of the TV or cramped up at the office. If you’ve been less active this winter it is even more critical to get your body ready for those upcoming 9 to 18 holes of golf swings.
When you are tight and lacking flexibility and rotation through your hips/core then the speed of your swing will be affected. By increasing your mobility you will be able to increase the speed of your club head and with correct impact of the ball will notice longer drives. What golfer doesn’t want longer, more consistent drives? The key is to open up your hips and improve your rotational flexibility.
Getting your body aligned, in balance, and improving mobility before you grab your clubs can help prevent injury and lead to a more fluid, powerful swing.
During the month of April, Natural Balance Therapy is offering two classes that can help get you ready for the golf season.
